Mrs. Martha Yelenosky received her Professor of Piano degree with honors, as Valedictorian, at the Conservatory of Music "Julian Aguirre", in Argentina, and a Masters in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Her professional activities include active memberships in the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) from which she maintains a professional certification, NSMTA and the Illinois Music Association (IMA). In addition to performing solo and ensemble piano repertoire, Mrs. Yelenosky's involvement in music and pedagogy includes co-founding and managing two private music institutes, authoring a bilingual music program for elementary schools in the Chicago area (by commission), having served 10 years as Chairman of the CAMTA Jazz Festival, as well as giving music and piano pedagogy lectures in the US and abroad. Martha Yelenosky is currently a faculty member at the Northwestern University Music Academy, where she teaches adult private and group piano classes. At her home studio in Skokie, IL, she maintains an active schedule teaching and coaching pianists at all levels, from 5 year-olds to adults. |
